Creativity is something that
brings people together. So it want a surprise that at the wedding of tattoo
artist, Senthil and his bride Lakshmi, the groom’s sister, Tejusvini and the
wedding planner came together and composed a wedding so spectacular, everybody
was stunned!
Having done all the brainstorming,
Tejusvini came to us with a décor theme that included the use of different
colours and elements. Bringing it all to life and making sure everything she
had in mind was executed perfectly, this task turned out to be very interesting
for Katha.
At the entrance of the venue,
Temple Tree Leisure, there was a rangoli made of flower petals and the pathway
that led to the lawn where the function took place, was decorated with bangles,
kaleeras, traditional flower garlands, kites, pinwheels and more flower
rangolis. Making so many elements work together without them clashing was quite
a task!
To make the open air venue more
colourful and add hues that would beautifully reflect the sunlight, a structure
was created behind the mandap and orange, yellow, and pink fabric was used to
cover the entire space by creating a false ceiling of sorts with just the
fabrics.
A path of colourful mats and more
flower rangolis was created on the lawn, which lead to the mandap. After all of
this creativity, it wouldn’t make sense if the mandap was normal and boring,
right? So we at Katha constructed a non-traditional mandap with its top being
spherical in shape.
The reception in the evening
followed a similar theme, but had a gorgeous backdrop of fabric and kites
behind the newlyweds.
Such creative collaborations with
our clients makes us extremely happy and we work even harder to ensure that
whatever they dream turns into reality!
